As a certified hatha yoga instructor, I specialize in fostering meaningful connections with
students across various backgrounds and proficiency levels.
My journey into yoga stemmed from a knee injury I experienced in 2012. The injury severely
limited my mobility, restricting my ability to walk properly and prohibiting any high-impact
exercises. This constraint left me feeling both incredibly bored and somewhat despondent.
Yet, I refused to resign myself to a life of perpetual pain. Despite months of medication
and physiotherapy, my progress was minimal, and my life remained confined. Enter yoga.
Through dedicated practice, yoga not only helped me regain muscle strength but also elevated
my energy levels while alleviating my mental distress. It was a transformative experience
that made me physically stronger, mentally calmer, and notably happier.
In 2022, I made the decision to undergo teacher training, driven by the desire to share the
profound healing potential of yoga with those enduring similar struggles. Since then, I've
had the privilege of guiding students grappling with stress, depression, herniated discs,
excess weight, knee injuries, frozen shoulders, vertigo, PCOD, and more. Each of them
embarked on their journey seeking a better life, and it's their unwavering determination
that has led to remarkable transformations.
So, to anyone facing challenges akin to mine: I offer this advice from one injury-prone
individual to another—start with small steps and never surrender to adversity.
